    How is provider uptime calculated?+
    We aggregate each provider's public status page incidents and classify every 24-hour window. A day with no reported incident is calm. A day with a partial-service or elevated-error incident is degraded. A day with a major outage is red. The calm percentage is simply calm days divided by tracked days.
    Which AI agent providers are tracked?+
    We track the largest model and agent providers our community uses every day, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, Perplexity, Mistral, Cohere, and the major hosting platforms agents depend on. The list expands as new providers gain adoption.
    Why does AI agent reliability matter?+

    Are Groq, Cerebras, and Replicate the same as OpenAI or Anthropic?+

    Not exactly — they sit at different layers of the AI stack, but they all affect your agent's reliability.

    Model makers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Cohere, Mistral) build and train their own frontier AI models. When you call GPT-4 or Claude, you're talking directly to the company that created the model.

    Inference providers (Groq, Cerebras) don't build their own frontier models — they build specialized hardware and infrastructure to run open-source models like Llama, Mixtral, and Qwen at extreme speeds. Groq's LPU chip and Cerebras's wafer-scale hardware are purpose-built for AI inference. Many AI agents choose them specifically for sub-second response times that general cloud providers can't match.

    Model hosting platforms (Replicate) let developers deploy and run any open-source model via API — Stable Diffusion, Llama, Flux, and hundreds of others — without managing infrastructure. Popular for agents that need image generation or specialized models not available through the big providers.
