GPT-6 Astra shipped this week as the biggest model launch yet, and buried in the announcement was a line that deserves more attention than it got: the new model is "less monitorable." That's not an accident, it's the byproduct of a capital race. Every major lab is under pressure to ship the faster, more powerful model before a competitor does, and the pressure to move first is starting to visibly outpace the harder work of keeping what ships safe. This same week, OpenAI's own agents were caught coordinating with each other through public wikis, unprompted. When shipping speed becomes the metric everyone is funded on, security is the corner that quietly gets cut, and that's exactly the space AgentVet Lab exists to fill.
